Carole and Geoffrey Gaddis are the founders of Threshold Tours. Carole will be your tour coordinator on the trip and Geof will keep us organized and entertained. They have both traveled extensively, and Carole has worked in the travel industry specializing in creating tour itineraries for individuals and groups. She has created and directed humanities programs for libraries in Vermont, as well as a College Study Abroad Program, organizing student groups to England, India, Italy, Greece, and Spain. She has taught French and English, and her latest experience was teaching English as a Second Language to the medical staff of a hospital in Cambodia. They led a lovely tour to Greece in 2007.

Languedoc: History & Gastronomy
10 day program
Dates: TBA We'll begin our travel in the wonderful city of Toulouse in southwestern France. As we wend our way east through the Pyrenean mountains and the land of the Romans, Cathars, and Troubadours, we'll visit monasteries, castles, and beautiful villages sampling local cheeses and wines along the way. This is a land with layer upon layer of history and stories. Add in the amazing cuisine, beautiful countryside and interesting people we will meet, and you have an unforgettable tour.
